2021 Comfy Fall & Winter Wardrobe Must-Haves for Men & Women

Need some comfy items to add to your wardrobe for the fall and winter season? Look no further, because I've got you. Here are some coveted items that the husband and I absolutely cannot live without during the fall & winter seasons.

Sweatsuits - We love a good sweatsuit as you see in the cover photo. Sweatsuits are the perfect casual fit to keep you warm and fashionable throughout the fall and winter seasons. Feel free to layer with a turtleneck underneath for extra warmth. Women have more of an advantage with sweatsuits seeing as though we can dress them up with heels and a jacket if we feel like being cute, yet comfy when heading out to brunch.

Faux Leather - Now.....if the summer wasn't so hot, I would wear faux leather all year long. It's one of my favorite articles of clothing. Now that the fall season is here (and winter is around the corner), I can officially wear it as much as I want. Whether you have a faux leather dress, skirt, jacket/blazer, pants, etc. - these pieces are extremely versatile and can be worn so many different ways.

Turtlenecks - These are a definite must-have for the fall and winter seasons. I'm confident in saying if you have a black, white, and tan-colored turtleneck - those will be the only ones you'll need! Turtlenecks are amazing options for layering or wearing alone. They keep you warm whether you choose to wear a jacket/coat and add a perfect touch of chic to any look!

Well-fitting Denim - Both of us absolutely have to have denim that fits well. I used to

hate denim once upon a time because brands only made them with 100% cotton (which meant they were extremely rigid with no stretch/give). Those kind of jeans made my movement feel restricted and flattened my body out everywhere (and I don't like that). And don't even get me started on the denim that has a gaping waistline in the back or additional fabric around the crotch (all indications of ill-fitting denim). Fast forward into the future, and I can't get enough of denim since a lot of brands now have stretch material in them which fits my shape and doesn't make me look boxy. The husband likes a little bit of stretch in his denim as well simply because they just feel more comfortable. Don't think that you have to purchase every wash available, but to get

you started, purchase a nice light wash and a pair of black denim. If you're looking for recommendations on where to purchase denim, head to American Eagle (for both men and women). Levi's also sells amazing denim for everyone, along with Nordstrom.

Denim blog with all our favorite denim coming very soon! Stay tuned!

Puffer/Faux Fur/Overcoats - Let's be real, sometimes fall and winter can get too cold to be cute! That's when your coat becomes your outfit. Some of our favorite coats are puffer, faux fur, and overcoats. They're perfect to keep you warm and to make a statement! Our favorite puffer coats can be found in the picture above (and of course they're in neutral colors)!

OTK/Combat/Ankle Boots - Fall & winter would NOT be complete without over-the-knee/combat/ankle boots for the ladies and Chelsea boots for guys!

White Sneakers - These are perfect all year long! If you've been following me for a while, you know the hubby and I love our white sneakers. We have multiple pairs and have worn them in more photos than I can count. You'll catch us pairing them with suits, dresses, shorts, and much more (not to mention they match with such a wide array of colors). There's no question that white sneakers can be the go-to shoe if you're not sure what to wear. Be sure to keep them as crispy white as you can. If you need to know how to clean your white sneakers and have them looking brand new, I'll have a blog on that soon!

Accessories - I've recently started getting more into accessories because I only used to wear earrings. I've been trying to accessorize more with necklaces, bracelets, hats, and handbags as well! I'm a person who prefers gold over everything, but that's okay because they still match perfectly with almost everything I wear. The husband only accessorizes with his favorite gold chain (he prefers jewelry that's not gaudy or in your face) and hats! But...you'll catch us in a hat before anything else! Lack of Color is where I purchase most of my hat. I love them because they can literally go with anything. I can wear my hats with sweatsuits, regular suits, nice denim, dresses....the list is endless!
